Code of Conduct

Welcome to The Garage! Our mission is to create a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for everyone.

To ensure an enjoyable experience, we ask all visitors to follow this Code of Conduct.

Respect for Others

  1. Be Kind and Courteous: Treat everyone with respect, kindness, and understanding, regardless of their skill level, background, or identity.

  2. Encourage and Support: Cheer others on, offer advice if asked, and celebrate everyone’s progress.

  3. Zero Tolerance for Bullying: Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind will not be tolerated.

  4. Resolve Conflicts Peacefully: If disagreements arise, handle them calmly and respectfully. Seek staff assistance if needed.

Safety First

  1. Wear Protective Gear: Helmets are mandatory 16 and under, and other protective gear is strongly recommended.

  2. Follow the Flow: Skate in designated areas and respect traffic flow to avoid collisions.

  3. Yield to Beginners: Be patient with newcomers and give them space to learn.

  4. Keep the Area Clear: Avoid sitting on ramps or obstructing pathways.

Facility Etiquette

  1. Share the Space: Take turns using features and avoid monopolizing any area.

  2. Keep it Clean: Dispose of trash properly and keep personal belongings organized.

  3. Use Appropriate Language: Refrain from using offensive or inappropriate language.

  4. Respect the Staff: Follow instructions from skatepark staff and report any issues or concerns.

Prohibited Activities

  1. No Smoking, Drugs, or Alcohol: These substances are strictly prohibited on the premises.

  2. No Vandalism or Graffiti: Respect the skatepark’s property and equipment.

  3. No Reckless Behavior: Avoid stunts or actions that could endanger yourself or others.

  4. No Pets: For safety reasons, pets are not allowed inside the skatepark.

Consequences for Violations

Failure to follow the Code of Conduct may result in:

  1. A verbal warning from staff.

  2. Temporary suspension from the facility.

  3. Permanent removal from the skatepark for severe or repeated violations.
